The Program: The B.G.I. Philosophy
BGI’s health and fitness program was developed over the course of several years. We have explored many avenues, and had many influences. We are evolving with the best interest of the client in mind. We do not believe in “one size fits all” fitness or diet plans. We currently offer multiple fitness and nutrition programs, and within each program, we strive to provide specificity for each client’s needs and abilities. This is part of our constant effort to provide each client with a program that offers the greatest opportunity for success. We understand that living well, living long, and looking good require more than just a good workout. It's about a lifestyle, and the workout is just one of three keys to looking your best and feeling great.
The 3toLife Philosophy
3toLife focused on 3 areas critical to leading a long and active life.
Physical Activity
Individualized Nutritional Needs
Recovery
Physical Activity is essential to looking great, and to leading a long and healthy life. When you are in our facility, we will do everything in our power to ensure that your workouts are both enjoyable and productive. We will utilize elements of strength, mobility, and cardio-respiratory conditioning to achieve the desired result. But it doesn't end here. BGI encourages everyone to participate in as many outside (the gym) activities as life allows. Swimming, cycling, paddleboarding, yoga, team sports, etc. In fact, BGI clients and trainers are highly active outside of the gym, and we often lead group activities. If you can find the time, members are always welcomed to participate.
Nutrition is the biggest piece of the health puzzle, and we've got you covered. We don't believe in "one size fits all" fitness, and we've taken the same stance when it comes to nutrition. Although there are standard requirements to healthy eating which can be applied across the board, there are also elements that cannot be standardized. We are all just a little bit different from one another. So, if you choose, we can work with you to the find the best nutrition system for you, constructed with YOU in mind. We'll base YOUR eating plan on YOUR GOALS, YOUR BODY, YOUR TASTES, and YOUR SCHEDULE. We help you choose the right diet for you, one that you can live with.
Recovery is likely the most overlooked or ignored aspect of fitness programs. Few fitness seekers understand the connection between improvements in physical conditioning (e.g. strength and weight-loss) and recovery. The lack of a recovery protocol in a your fitness and health program can result in trainees hitting the wall (a point in which you stop making gains), diminishing returns (when progress reverses), or injury. All of these are indications of overtraining often associated with the a lack of recovery. All of BGI's fitness programs are written to prevent overtraining and the associated risks. Not only will you avoid training-related injuries, but the lifestyle tips we'll provide will increase the rate of strength gains and weight-loss. We'll make sure you are getting the most out of your training, and you'll avoid the injuries that have become so common in many of today's exercise programs.
